Are You Scurrying?

Welcome to the art/life trail!

In October something wonderful emerges. A shift happens. You can look over your shoulder (as you step further into the autumn) and see what’s happened since spring.

Time to reflect upon

where you’ve been,

how you’ve been

With whom you’ve been engaged.

Take a Moment and Pause

Create a context and a container for what will come to meet you in the remaining fall and winter moon/months ahead.

Visualize what you choose to have come of this time.

Looking outward there is uncertainty, volatility and angst. Much is being derailed.

Take time to be still

Find the place of respite from storms of all varieties. This is a daily practice …you deserve to know where your still-point is. You deserve to know how to find the quiet depth that is within…belly deep…root deep.

Out there everything moves very fast. There is no doubt that this 18th year of the new millennium is ramped-up.

What is going on??

Each of us gets to decide for ourselves…and none of us can decide for anyone else.

There is the freedom.

Take a Deep Breath

Here on the art/life trail you can follow the flow of Natural/Circadian time. You can focus on being creatively balanced. You can allow yourself to take good care and recognize when to DO and when to simply BE.

The leaves turn brilliant shades of reds and golds, drifting, drifting down and down. Birds move to warmer climes; the land animals quicken their pace…in preparation for rest. There is much to be done prior to the drop in temperature. Fewer hours of daylight changes the circadian rhythm of us all.

In my yard the newest batch of baby rabbits are foraging, the squirrels are madly gathering, dozens of bushy tails dashing about burying acorns. At night the fox roam in restless search for food and for a mate. The moon rises over the cove casting a soft glow on recently arrived waterfowl floating silently.

What about you? Can you sense into the Natural/Circadian rhythm as it shifts? Or are you continually scurrying? Are you rushing about already thinking about how much there will be to DO in the weeks ahead? Or are you considering the opportunity present to engage with Natural/Circadian rhythms to quiet down?

The gotta get there/gotta get it done

momentum is difficult to stop

It’s about time to pause and remember, once again how much your body aligns with the natural rhythm:

Each Wednesday for seven weeks you’ll receive a short video with a creative prompt and short lesson to help you to welcome, remember and engage with Natural/Circadian Time.

These creative encounters dovetail with one another so that by the close of the seven sessions you’ll have a meaningful tool, made by your hands, beneficial in supporting your forward movement. You can also save each video and MP3 file to your computer and take part at your own pace between now and Winter Solstice when the energy shifts to an even deeper potential to refresh and recreate your vitality and LIFE force.

Registration is Open

Currently the Natural/Circadian rhythm invites you to slow down.

Let’s consciously begin to add 15 minutes a day turning more toward BEing rather than DOing. Let’s make a commitment to finding an inner graced pace.

I invite us to support one another in accomplishing this sacred creative goal…

wandering and wondering in the depths of your roots for the weeks to come.

Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog so that you receive and maintain a connection to the natural quality of creative rejuvenation and regeneration that acts as a guardian to your LIFE giving essence in these Fall/Winter moon/months of visiting the deep within.
