Dream the Dream

We are traveling through the first week of March. This starts the ‘Purity Moon’ cycle.

Hello and welcome to the art/life trail ride!

Let’s jump right in with the present challenge…this is the week to step back and take a brief deathbed point of view on your year long journey.

Imagine this week that you are at the end of your art/life path. No need to get dramatic or heavy. Review. What will you discover when you look back?

March is the month when it’s natural to wrap up loose ends prior to looking forward. Coming soon: dream the dream.

Throughout this month lighten up

Steam clean your creative practice

Prepare the way to remount

The art/life trail ride, as a path, lines up with slow time, holistic, integrative time…natural time…and in the midst of this relaxed relationship with time we find that so much happens.

What’s Your Dream?

The month of March is known as the balsamic phase of the Natural Year. It’s the segment of the yearly wheel for releasing what has been.

This final slice of the yearly pie represents…

 spacious time

floating time

being time

trusting time

something wonderful is emerging.

WISE WOMAN OF THE WEEK

Welcome our Wise Woman companion on the art/life trail

YOU

This week take the time to honor you. Pay attention to the humble confidence that moves you forward step by step.

Where would you be without YOU?

Notice the inner treasure that has come to meet you during the past six months.

You are the wisest one that you have ever loved. Lean into that.

You = ‘Here-O’

Notice all that you bring

The old adage “first give them roots and then give them wings” is a basis for parenting.

During our retreat ‘Roots & Wings’ is also an entrance point for the individual creative process.

Saturday: Plant your seed vision. Nurture your concept through research and experimentation using diverse materials. Put a stake in the ground and choose your direction. Observe your seed ideas ripen through engaged creative process.

Sunday: Reflect, review. Give your project wings and rise to meet the possibility ahead.
