This month our creative keyword on the art\/life trail is Trust.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This is a powerful time each year to be evolving your creative voice. Wise even to pay <\/span><\/h4>\n

attention to the manner in which you create. What gets your juices flowing? <\/span><\/h4>\n

In what direction are you currently taking action to express that which holds the deepest<\/span><\/h4>\n

meaning for you?<\/span><\/h4>\n

This month we have the opportunity to explore a deeper level of creative confidence.<\/span><\/h4>\n

What does that mean?<\/span><\/h4>\n

TRUST. Here’s a brief definition to support efforts:<\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. reliance<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0integrity,<\/span>\u00a0strength,<\/span>\u00a0ability,<\/span>\u00a0surety,<\/span>\u00a0etc.,<\/span>\u00a0of a\u00a0person<\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0thing;<\/span>\u00a0confidence.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. confident<\/span>\u00a0expectation<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0something;<\/span>\u00a0hope.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/h4>\n

    I often think of trust as the ability to navigate the trail, here and now, as well as up ahead. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    How do you get from point A to point J without loosing your way or giving up? <\/span><\/h4>\n

    Indecision can create a slippery slope which is why we’re here, keeping a focus, <\/span><\/h4>\n

    moon\/month by moon\/month around the Natural Calendar of the year. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    We’re now mid-way through summer. Six weeks remain before the Fall Equinox. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    During this time there is additional light as well as natural energy available to tap into. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    If we look ahead and visualize what it is we would like to have happen there’s a good <\/span><\/h4>\n

    chance that we’ll see results.\u00a0 <\/span><\/h4>\n

    Creative exercise: Ask yourself these two questions: <\/span><\/h4>\n

    What do I want to have come of this time? <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

    What is this time for? <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

    <\/h4>\n

    These are exceptional prompts that bring instant focus. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    Any traveler knows that you don’t make any progress until and unless you choose your<\/span><\/h4>\n

    destination. <\/span>This time of the Natural Year is ripe for the picking. This is a time to harvest <\/span><\/h4>\n

    your best idea in the moment. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    Navigate toward the six weeks ahead. Imaging that you trust your experience as if there is<\/span><\/h4>\n

    nothing holding you back. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    There is nothing holding you back\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

    <\/h4>\n

    At the grocery story I saw a fellow wearing this message and asked his permission to take a<\/span><\/h4>\n

    photo…<\/span><\/h4>\n

    \"\"<\/span><\/h4>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The word, which is a new and creative word to me, reminded me of how excited I am to do<\/span><\/h4>\n

    just that. <\/span><\/h4>\n

    I navigate in a unique and different way each time I’m carving out a new trail at the tree<\/span><\/h4>\n

    farm. Every trail begins with the vision of being able to move through the tangle in front of<\/span><\/h4>\n

    me. I have to start slowly and progress tentatively and yet aggressively due to brier and<\/span><\/h4>\n

    bramble, not to mention poison ivy, poison oak and stinging insects of a variety as well as<\/span><\/h4>\n

    the ever present tick population. Not easy to carve a trail. Yet once accomplished the<\/span><\/h4>\n

    landscape becomes available for exploration in a way not really possible prior to clearing<\/span><\/h4>\n

    the way.<\/span><\/h4>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    In a similar way I enjoy being with young artists who are seeing their surrounding through<\/span><\/h4>\n

    new eye when I take them to the woods at nearby First Landing State Park .<\/a><\/span><\/h4>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

    Back in the studio, based upon what they’ve seen…or imagined… magic unfolds…<\/span><\/h4>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    I send you all best as you explore your creative gifts and talents all this moon\/month with<\/span><\/h4>\n

    your awareness upon a TRUST for your process.<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Where are you are now? Where can you imagine yourself being within the container of the<\/span><\/h4>\n

    six weeks ahead?<\/span><\/h4>\n
