Welcome to the art\/life trail ride! The August Moon connects us to the\u00a0keyword Trust<\/strong>. \u00a0Our 30 day challenge for the moon\/month includes Trusting<\/strong> that it\u2019s safe to be safe. That’s a creative concept in and of itself! Once safe it is also safe to let your freak flag fly! <\/span><\/h4>\n

Coloring outside the lines is just one of the many perks of living the art\/life. While on the trail ride together we ignite one another’s sparks of passion and purpose as we support the trajectory of ‘never before!’<\/span><\/h4>\n

I have a feeling that if we were to take a poll to see which one of our 12 keywords creates the greatest and most instantaneous negative stress response<\/strong><\/em> it would be the quality of Trust<\/strong>. But don’t Trust<\/strong> me on that…do your own research.\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Trust is natural but it is not usual<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

We come into the world with Trust<\/strong>\u00a0then we are challenged. Before long we need to learn what is safe to Trust<\/strong>. We need to develop a lifelong practice of \u2018Whom do I Trust<\/strong>? Do I Trust<\/strong> myself? Do I have the courage to stay in my heart and stand in this current stage of my art\/life, Trust<\/strong>ing that this is where I belong?<\/span><\/h4>\n

My Short Story<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

I learn by observing nature. I see the quick\u00a0reaction from butterfly, bird, deer and all other wild neighbors to \u2018anything that moves\u2019. This year\u2019s batch of new fox teens are exploring early in the morning and at dusk\u00a0all around Wren House.\u00a0They hop, scamper, poke, paw and sometimes I see them as they lie around for a short time in the heat of the afternoon outside the studio.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Yet all that is required to clear the area is a movement or sound and they skedaddle into the undergrowth and vanish.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This month:<\/strong><\/span>
\n pay attention<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Each keyword acts as a\u00a0power tool ready to assist\u00a0in your creative work. Yet sometimes the meaning of the \u00a0quality is\u00a0illusive. August\/Leo\/Trust<\/strong> pushes toward potent action oriented focus.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Ask yourself: <\/span><\/h4>\n

What do I need to be paying attention to? <\/span><\/h4>\n

Where do I shine? <\/span><\/h4>\n

What do I have to offer? <\/span><\/h4>\n

Do I Trust my ability to grow?<\/span><\/h4>\n

We\u2019re at the midpoint in the summer quadrant:<\/span><\/h4>\n

GET GOING!!<\/span><\/h3>\n

As you move into the moon\/month that ignites the fire in the belly, notice your patterns. This August\/Leo segment of the wheel spirals up and then it lifts us out into our place in the world. That’s where the Trust<\/strong> factor comes in. Even though this is the natural time for action it’s subjective. I may not feel inclined to be a marathon athlete however I may have a real gift for going the long distance at my own pace. Do I put my chips on myself or do I get sucked into thinking that I ought to be doing it ‘their way’? <\/span><\/h4>\n

This point on the Natural Year provides a check and balance on how you Trust<\/strong> your art\/life. Notice:<\/span><\/h4>\n

Where does your art\/life holds the most grace?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Sometimes we forget our courageous creative agreements. It seems easier to drift than to stay\u00a0the course. We lose contact with the purpose of our original desire and before we know it confusion and skeptical thinking darkens the door. In order to Trust<\/strong> your art\/life be willing to remember what sets you on fire.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Growth + Trust = Love<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

Trust<\/strong> represents\u00a0the\u00a0middle stone on the summer pathway. Standing here we\u00a0look to the Center of the Wheel. Being\u00a0proactive we make sparks fly and light up the room<\/span>…and the greater world in which we move. I might be a firefly, you might be a bonfire…yet we are shining.<\/span><\/h4>\n

As Growth leads\u00a0to Trust<\/strong> we become\u00a0steady. \u00a0Like a candle in a still room we remain centered. We\u00a0are taking note that no matter what growing edge we may be on we can Trust<\/strong> that all will be well as you\u00a0take each step in the direction of your vision with the courage to be seen lit up with passion!<\/span><\/h4>\n
