Welcome to the art/life trail and summer solstice 2017!

Today, June 21, we experience the longest light of the Natural Year…Summer Solstice/Litha marks the South Gate’s opening on the Natural Calendar Wheel.

This is an exciting place to pause and take a deep breath.

You and me and we have now traveled 90 days (April, May and almost all of June) into the new Natural Year. We’ve been exploring and being curious about ME (ME as a creative code word pointing toward and acknowledging ‘all the you’s that you have ever been throughout time’. Take a moment to sense into this vast and expansive realm of support for who you are being today. We call this power house of generative ideas and inspirations The Alchemical ME.)

This ME part of each of us is a decidely fierce, resourceful, tender and nurturing constellation. ME has been gaining traction. Your attention for 90 days has been on the creative support that rises up to meet you when you encounter each challenge, all of the chaos and the many growth edges rising up to prompt us to creatively evolve.

Joseph Campbell in The Hero’s Journey writes about the ‘Mighty Companions and the Helping Hands’ that appear when we are on the ground. This moon/month as the South Gate opens see yourself surrounded by loving support.

As we move into the summer moon/months actively engage so that ME unfolds into WE. During the 3 moon/months ahead we’ll be free to explore, as existential detectives, the ways in which joining with Others creates a WE field. How wonderfully organic and synchronistic it is to first, throughout spring, reestablish the relationship with ME before moving into the summer months and the yearly opportunity of consciously joining with the WE.

Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.

We now make the shift from the energy of spring to the most exceptional power of the 90 summer days ahead. This is an exciting time to be engaged in the potential of creative growth and the turn toward the mutual influence of supporting one another.

You don’t become yourself by yourself. These 90 days offer you the opportunity to face the fear, frustration and concerns that would hold you back from conscious connection with Others.

Focusing on the keyword for this summer quadrant: OTHERS, will allow your creative connections of mutual influence to grow.

We don’t become ourselves by ourselves.

This 90 days (July, August and September) opens the gateway to Growth, Trust and Love. This is the field for action and discovery.
